Hi, I'm Deb — the founder and
creative heart behind Ruby & Dulcie.
Flowers have always brought me joy, but it wasn't until later in life that I discovered floristry was truly my passion. I feel incredibly lucky to have found something I love so much, and to spend my days creating beautiful, meaningful floral designs for life's most special moments.
I'm a wife, mum to grown-up children and a proud nana. Before floristry, I spent many years as a hairdresser, which gifted me a natural ability to connect with people and a strong understanding of colour, design and how to bring a client's vision to life. Those skills have carried into my floral work, helping me guide couples with confidence while creating designs that feel effortless and beautifully balanced.
A little fussy, in the best way.
I'm known for being both creative and a little fussy when it comes to the details. I believe the magic is often found in the finishing touches, and I take great pride in ensuring every arrangement is thoughtfully designed and beautifully presented.
Named for two remarkable women.
The name Ruby & Dulcie is deeply personal to me. Ruby was my great-grandmother, an incredible gardener, and Dulcie was my nana, who grew the most beautiful hydrangeas. Some of my fondest childhood memories were spent in their gardens, surrounded by flowers — naming my business after them was a way of honouring the women who inspired my love of flowers from a young age.
Today, Ruby & Dulcie is built on a love of beautiful blooms, genuine connection, and creating florals that feel both timeless and memorable. Whether it's an intimate celebration, a grand wedding or a thoughtful gift, I pour my heart into every design and feel privileged to be part of so many special moments.

Bouquets & Buttonholes
The bridal bouquet, bridesmaids, buttonholes, flower crowns and corsages — each one custom made to your needs, your colours and your design.
Ceremony & Reception
Aisle and ceremony florals, table centres, bridal table and cake flowers. Installed on site, and packed down afterwards if required, so you never think about it.
Styling & Hire
Plinths, vases and candles from our own hire range — styled alongside your flowers so it all works together.

A proper consultation — colours, flowers in season for your month, what the venue will take, and a realistic budget.
Your Proposal
A written quote covering every piece, with hire included. Adjust it as often as you like up to six weeks out.
The Day
Your flowers are made ahead of the day. We deliver, install on site, and come back at the end of the night to pack everything down, if required.
